Our services

Surgery

Our experienced veterinarians provide many surgical services at our clinic, ranging from routine to advanced procedures. Because we want to ensure that our patients receive the best possible outcome, we occasionally refer them to specialists (board-certified veterinary surgeons) to perform complex operations when advanced equipment or training will be beneficial. Our veterinary team takes every precaution so that your pet receives the highest-quality care. We perform a physical exam and preanesthetic testing before surgery, monitor your pet during surgery, and provide appropriate pain medication to keep your pet comfortable during recovery.

Dental Care

Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental (or periodontal) disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets.

Diagnostic Imaging

We use digital radiography which provides excellent quality radiographs, including dental and intraoral x-rays. This allows us to further investigate disease or injury that may not be detectable otherwise.

Physical Health Examinations

One of the best ways to keep your pet healthy is with regular annual physical exams. With the help of one of our registered veterinary technicians, your veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination of your pet to listen, look and feel for any subtle changes in their physical health. As animals grow older, they become more susceptible to developing health problems, many of which can be managed through simple changes in diet, lifestyle and medication.

Vaccinations

Vaccines are designed to give an individual’s immune system a memory. If our white cells remember an invader like a virus or a bacteria, the chances of that organism causing trouble in the future is greatly reduced. Our clinic vaccinates according to disease risk. Because of this approach, your animal’s vaccines can be tailored to your animal’s health and lifestyle.

Diagnostics & Wellness Testing

We perform a number of in-house laboratory diagnostic tests.  We also use an external lab enabling us to run a vast number of diagnostic tests with a rapid turn-around time for receiving results.

Wellness testing typically consists of blood, urine and fecal analysis, and helps us keep pets healthier by proactively  preventing disease. This testing may confirm that the pet has no organ difficulties, or can allow us to identify organ insufficiencies and diseases early on.
